St Albans Campus

Expansive and Purpose-built

Oaklands College’s St Albans Campus offers modern, award-winning facilities in a rural setting with excellent transport links to St Albans and Hatfield.

Campus Facilities

The campus is home to cutting-edge workshops, design studios, a large indoor sports hall, gym, and virtual learning environment. Its sports hall is one of the largest in the county and is complemented by floodlit artificial pitches, ideal for year-round use and elite sports development. The Hospitality & Catering facilities, including The Stables Restaurant, offer unique training kitchens and serve the public for lunch and dinner.

Additional Areas

Set on 200 acres just outside St Albans, the campus includes a working farm, hands-on training in trades like Brickwork, Carpentry, and Electrical, as well as elite sports academies for Basketball, Netball, Football, Rugby, and Athletics.

St Albans Campus Facilities

At the St Albans campus, you'll find a unique learning environment in a one-of-a kind countryside setting.

The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) provides a great study space with computers and friendly staff available for help and one-on-one support.

Students can access the LRC Canvas page for academic resources, including writing tips, referencing, and exam advice. Equipment loans like Chromebooks, laptops, books, and headphones are available—just wear your ID badge to borrow or print.

LRC hours:

  • Mon–Thu: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Fri: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Holidays (except Christmas): Mon–Fri: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Disabled parking is available on-site, with limited spaces for students.

Each campus has its own refectory, serving hot meals, chilled food, snacks, and a range of Starbucks drinks from breakfast until late afternoon. At the St Albans campus, students can also enjoy freshly prepared meals at discounted prices in the Stables Restaurant.

Students can use the gym for free, with the opportunity to join the Wolves Academy available for aspiring and competitive athletes.

Discounted hair and beauty treatments are available at the Oasis Salon.
