We offer a broad range of subjects, with our A Level pathways uniquely connected to our sports academies, allowing students to pursue their academic studies alongside their sporting passions.  

Additionally, we offer comprehensive support in preparing personal statements, interview practice, and other selection processes, ensuring you have the best possible chance of gaining admission to your first-choice university.

What grades will I need if I want to study A Levels?

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 5, including a 6 or 7 in the relevant subject(s) – see details below:

Biology

Chemistry

A minimum of 7 is needed in Double Science (or 7 in the relevant science) and 6 in Maths.

P.E.

Psychology

A minimum of 6 is needed in Double Science and Maths.

N.B. For Psychology – students must also have a minimum of 6 in English Language or English Literature (as more essay-based subject than the other sciences).

Maths

A minimum of 7 in Maths.

English Lit

A minimum of 6 is needed in English Literature.

Law

Sociology

Business

A minimum of 6 is needed in English Language or English Literature.

Please note EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) will continue to be available to 2nd year students.

VALUE ADDED A LEVEL PROGRAMMES

The ‘value-added’ courses offer a blend of A Levels and equivalent subjects, helping students achieve strong grades while developing life skills for university, apprenticeships, and employment.
