Matt Tofts Crowned National Winner in Greenkeeping Excellence

Oaklands College is thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Matt Tofts, a dedicated and talented learner who recently completed his Level 3 Diploma in Work-Based Horticulture with us.

Matt’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring. Completing his qualification well ahead of schedule, he demonstrated exceptional motivation and commitment throughout his studies. His background in landscaping provided a solid foundation, giving him the skills and insight necessary to excel in greenkeeping at a professional level.

Recognising his hard work, the college nominated Matt for a prestigious national award. After progressing through rigorous stages, he was selected as a finalist—and has now been crowned the National Winner in greenkeeping!

Matt’s lecturer praised his outstanding work ethic and passion for his craft. His success showcases the value of determination and skill in achieving excellence. We are proud to have supported Matt on this incredible journey.
