About the course

The Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship is designed to provide the skills and knowledge needed to support teachers and help children reach their full potential in the classroom. The course covers child development, classroom management, and instructional support techniques. Apprentices learn to assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, provide individual and group support to students, and manage classroom behavior effectively. The apprenticeship also includes training in safeguarding and special educational needs (SEN) support, ensuring that apprentices are well-equipped to contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
