About the course

A follow on course from beginners where you will continue to develop skills in creating stories. You will focus on writing a beginning, middle and end, blogging, writing query letters and entering competitions. Advice on approaching a publisher/ self publishing.

Course Content - What will I learn?

Building on the basics: through written exercises and discussion of learners work we will reinforce and extend our knowledge of the 'rules of writing'. Making non-fiction creative: Non-fiction is usually easier to sell. But many writers feel that it is not 'creative'. We will see how this objection can be removed, by applying the 'rules' of fiction factual writing.
Materials to be provided by the learner: Pencil and pad
