About the course

You will gain an understanding of drawing techniques with a focus on the formal elements being line, tone, form, combinations of media all working from observations. You will then move into colour working with paint acrylic/watercolour. There will be time to develop a self-directed outcome in the last two weeks.

Course Content - What will I learn?

Exploring - drawing materials then moving into colour and painting media - all applied to direct observation and developing visual response to these. Using variety of exercises and approaches.
Materials to be provided by the learners: A3 pad of cartridge paper, 2B pencil, Rubber, Learners will add to this during the duration of the course.
