About the course

If you need to improve your English language before you move to academic or vocational courses, you can join our full-time (17 hours) programme for young people from all over the world. We offer English language classes at all levels from Entry 1 (beginner) up to Level 1 (higher intermediate). You can gain qualifications in English Language (ESOL Skills for Life), Functional Skills Mathematics and Computing, and Employability Skills, together with advice on planning your next steps.

Career options

You may progress to higher levels in the full time ESOL programme or join a part time adult ESOL class. Students who achieve qualifications at Level 1 may apply to join GCSE classes. Many students progress onto vocational programmes such as Business, ICT, Construction, Health and Social Care.
