During the year you will take formal exams in Speaking and Listening, Reading, and Writing. These are accredited by Trinity College London. Your teacher will decide if you are ready to take the exams. The teacher's decision is final.

About the course

We offer classes from Entry 1 to Level 2 on Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday. Please check at your assessment for the timetable. You will study for Trinity ESOL Skills for Life Awards in Speaking and Listening, Reading, and Writing depending on your progress. You will study grammar and vocabulary appropriate to your level. You will practise reading and writing appropriate to your level. Entry 1 and 2 students will complete an employability portfolio in the Autumn term. Career options

Students at Entry 1, 2 and 3 usually progress to the next level. Students who pass L1 and 2 may consider Functional Skills or GCSE. The college Advice and Guidance staff can help with regard to continuing on vocational subjects at the college.
