About the course

This course is funded by Step2Skills for residents of Hertfordshire only. This course is FREE however when you enrol you are agreeing to complete paperwork to reflect and record your progress. Attendance is vital, so first check that you are available to attend each weekly lesson. This is ideal for those who currently have no/ low digital skills in Excel but have the desire to learn new skills and build their confidence in using this popular business application. Over the 6 sessions you will explore Microsoft Excel by navigating around the Excel ribbons/ toolbar options; understand and use basic formulas; enhance worksheets by applying formatting themes and getting to grips with the terminology. With activities to complete every step of the way your skills and knowledge will improve and you will gain a broader understanding of the uses and benefits of this application. This is a tutor led course aimed at beginners who have already some basic IT and mouse and keyboard skills.
