About the course

This six week course is for those who have previously completed the beginners course (or have previous experience with flower arranging) and want to expand and develop their floristry skills and knowledge further. You will: 1. Make a natural twig heart or circular wreath with moss, using materials which will naturally dry to keep as a decoration in the home or garden. 2. Create a floral hand tied with a collar, discover how to spiral stems as well as create a unique modern collar to match. 3. Create eco-friendly arrangement for the home. Explore various methods of eco-friendly and recyclable mechanics, which you can experiment with further in class. 4. Make a seasonal wreath design using lots of textured materials 'dried or fresh 'to enjoy for many months. 5. Learn how to make a design in a container with a handle as a gift for someone special 'with textured foliage's, grasses and mixed colours. 6. Make a natural twig container using tall stems with raffia and ribbon. The tutor will demonstrate various arrangements, and then you can create your design to take home. Scissors and sundries will be provided. The cost of flowers are not included within the fee so you will be need to budget approximately '12-'15 per week.
