The course teaching team have worked in a range of environments within the animal industry e.g. veterinary surgeries, animal welfare charities, wildlife parks and farms. They hold a variety of qualifications, including Degrees in Wildlife Conservation, Animal Science, Animal Behaviour and Veterinary Nursing, and are all qualified lecturers

To gain this qualification, candidates must successfully achieve the following assessments: One to one practical assessment with oral questioning
Achievement of this qualification demonstrates to employers or the public that you have the practical skills and knowledge they are looking for when recruiting/seeking the services of a pet sitter. This course directly links to our other qualifications - Canine first aid. We encourage students from these courses to enrol onto this first aid course, as this is a requirement in the industry
For those of you wanting to go into employment, the aim of our course(s) are to produce competent carers working with animals, with the potential to take up management positions after further experience.
