About the course

The Level 2 Diploma is a specialist practical and vocational qualification. You learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations,activities and demands. The course is designed to give you an insight into the practicalities and realities of working within a public service organisation. The course has a range of diverse and challenging topic areas offering an introduction to the skills you will need when working in the public sector.

Career options

Successful completion will allow you to progress onto a more advanced course such as the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Public Serivces or other Level 3 qualification.

Course Content - What will I learn?

Learners will get to study a variety of different units which is designed to give learners a perspective on the different entry routes into a variety of services. The curriculum is designed to develop the necessary skills to support learners transition into the services.
