Your tutor will discuss your needs at the beginning of the programme and then reassess them mid term and at the end of the programme. There is no exam attached to this course.

About the course

The focus is mainly on Speaking and Listening. You will be taught in the target language from the first session and continue to develop skills acquired in the beginners course. Topics include getting around, making enquiries and booking accommodation, eating out, travelling and basic telephoning.

Career options

Continue to develop your speaking and listening skills by enrolling on Spanish Improvers Continuation (8 week course) or Preparation for Intermediate Spanish in the new academic year.

Material to be provided by the learners: If you are a new learner you will need to purchase the course book with costs between 20-30. Notepad and pen. Target language dictionary.
