Students who complete their T Level will receive an overall grade of pass, merit, distinction or distinction* UCAS points will only be allocated to the overall T-level grade. Students must achieve at least an overall pass grade to receive UCAS points. A pass grade is worth 72 points and will range to 168 points if an A* is achieved.

About the course

Enrolling now for September 2024 start. The T Level in Health is an advanced level 3 course and equivalent to 3 A Levels. It offers a much longer period of industry placement to give you first hand experience of working in the health sector and is aimed at students who are very clear on the career path they wish to pursue. The breadth of content will ensure learners can apply their skills for different purposes and in different roles.

Career options

Nursing which includes adult nursing, mental health nursing, childrens nursing, learning disability nursing or midwifery. Allied health professions including physiotherapy, dietician, occupational therapy, podiatry, radiography, speech and language therapy. Paramedic science.

Course Content - What will I learn?

The core content for the T Level will cover the following areas: - The healthcare sector - Providing person centred care - Health and wellbeing - Safety and Environmental regulations in the Health and Science sector - Managing information and data within the Health and Science sector - Good Scientific and Clinical Practice Core Science concepts - Infection prevention and control in health specific settings - Managing personal information - Further science concepts covering anatomy & physiology, epidemiology, classification of diseases & disorders, injury & trauma, and health promotion With the opportunity to specialise in Supporting the Adult Nursing Team or Supporting the Midwifery team.
