This course focuses on developing practical skills, knowledge of industry standards and employability skills to bridge the gap between foundational knowledge and professional practice. With a blended approach of theory and practical sessions, you will have an understanding in real-world coaching practice, safeguarding, engagement and communication, coaching adaptability, and professional development. This includes accredited qualifications such as Safeguarding, Emergency First Aid at Work and a UK coaching qualification.
You will have a range of opportunities on a weekly basis to support our current sporting sessions within the college including our sport academies which has a variety of sports so we will look to tailor your programme to your interests where we can.
You will be supported in work readiness as a Sports Coach on completion of the course with interviews and employment opportunities within Hertfordshire.
