Michael Ball

Liam Jefferson

Head Coach Liam Jefferson joined the Wolves after leading the London Lions Boys Academy in the 2023-2024 season. Coach Jefferson has an impressive coaching resume having won multiple National Championships with Loughborough University across a 12-year coaching career, whilst helping numerous players sign professional contracts. Coach Jefferson is the current Great Britain U16 Men’s Head Coach and was the Assistant Coach with the U20 Men’s National Team in the summer of 2023.

In addition to his roles with Oaklands and Great Britain, Coach Jefferson works for Transforming Basketball delivering coaching clinics and masterclasses all over the world

Lee Ryan

Head of Performance Lee Ryan joined the Wolves in 2011 and has played an integral part in the elevation of Oaklands Wolves as one of the best basketball institutions in the UK. 
A highly decorated coaching career spanning 22 years including 8 years as National Teams coach for U18 women and U17 new horizons. Coach Ryan boasts a winning profile at all levels including club, county, regional and National Teams, which includes a silver medal in 2012 at the FIBA European Championships.
Highly recognised as one of the best player development coaches in his generation, he has been instrumental in the rise of many European talents currently playing professionally all over the globe. Since 2016 Coach Ryan has lead our professional women’s team in the Basketball Super League (formers WBBL), guiding the franchise to its first National Finals in the Trophy Competition in 2025.
