Having been here for two years I have gained a lot of knowledge regarding preparing, cooking and plating up various dishes. I feel really privileged to have been chosen to represent the catering department at various events where I showed off my skills including the Young Restaurant Team of the Year competition where I was a semi-finalist. With my qualifications and experience I will pursue my career and hopefully one day own my own patisserie business.

Students were given a rare opportunity to experience the very best of the hospitality industry at a fully booked Partnership Dinner, hosted in collaboration with leading culinary professionals. Rukh Gupta, Head Chef at The Grand Scotland Yard Hotel (part of the Hyatt Hotel Group), alongside Baue Albers van der Linden, a Michelin-star level professional led the front-of-house experience for the evening.
