Getting to Oaklands

To St Albans Campus:

·       Route 602: Travels from Watford, Hatfield, or St Albans, up to every 15 minutes Monday – Friday

·       Route 362 (Red Rose) Travels from Borehamwood

·       Route 612: Travels from Luton and Wheathampstead during peak times and school days only

·       Route 653 Travels from Welwyn Garden City (changing at Hatfield Rail Station) and continuing on route 602


NB: Route 653 departs Welwyn Garden City Bus Station at 0725, 0755 and 0825.  These journeys arrive at Hatfield Rail Station at 0752, 0821 and 0846.  Route 602 departs Hatfield Rail Station at 0756, 0831 and 0856 arriving at Oaklands at 0825, 0852 and 0902.

 

 

To Welwyn Garden City Campus: 

  • Tigermoth 653: Runs from New Greens, St Albans, or Hatfield, up to every 30 minutes.
  • Routes 366 and 367 from Luton

Travel Perks

Once you enrol at Oaklands, you may qualify for discounted or even FREE travel on UNO buses within Hertfordshire and North London.
You can select and purchase Oaklands tickets, including free options, directly through the UNO bus website and app. Please note that no physical Oaklands tickets will be issued on these buses.

Oaklands Zone 1 Day ticket is £1.50

Oaklands Zone 1&2 Day Ticket is £2.40

Oaklands 7-day ticket is £15

How to register for discounted Oaklands tickets

  1. Visit the Uno website to register for an account 
  2. Once registered, click on your 'account' and then 'ticket schemes' 
  3. Request access to either the 'Oaklands Regular' or 'Oaklands Free' ticket group and upload a photo of your Oaklands ID card
  4. Once approved - You can select your Oaklands tickets for purchase, and they will then show on your app - Just activate them when you're ready
  5. Board the bus and scan the QR code
